Introduction

The Educational Programme contains the following projects:

Schools Project

   A project focused on pupils coming to visit our centre to be introduced to Muslims and get an insight into Islam and the impact it has on Muslims way of life.

 

Media Project

   Developing Educational materials that are interesting and informative. Aimed at Religious Studies and Citizenship across all the various key stages.

 

Joseph & Jasmine

   Groundbreaking Comic Strip following the adventures of 2 young Muslims from different backgrounds living in the UK. Looking at many topics through scenarios that many young Muslims face everyday.

 

Teacher Resource Centre (TRC)

   A website aimed at creating a partnership between Muslims and teachers to facilitate in the teaching of Islam and to strive to improve Religious Education, allowing young people to better understand those of different faiths and backgrounds.

 

Educational Supplement

   A project created to provide Muslims; including young people, with a voice and give an insight into the various aspects of life as a Muslim. Informative articles and written pieces covering many areas of Islam and the diversity that exists within the Muslim communities.
